1. Rake the cream through soaking wet* hair.
2. If you have thick or denser curl texture, consider applying cream in sections for even distribution.
3. Styling on soaking wet hair will help to reduce frizz and prevent stringy curl clumps.
4. To achieve bouncy and smooth clumps, separate your hair into sections and brush, comb, or rake through.
5. Once the section is smooth and detangled, hold it near the roots and gently shake to encourage the natural curl pattern to form.
6. Gently pulse the formed curl to support curl definition.
7. For added hold, follow with our Define & Seal Curl Defining Gelée.

Define & Seal Curl Defining Gelée:

1. Apply to wet hair.
2. Allow to air-dry naturally or style with a diffuser.
3. Once dry, scrunch curls to break the cast.

1. Apply product from roots to ends using the praying hands or glazing technique.
2. This will help the gel form a layer around your curls, keeping them defined.
3. To remove excess moisture and help create a better cast, before you apply the gelée, you can plop or micro-plop with a cotton t-shirt or microfiber towel.
4. Air-dry or follow with a diffuser.
5. For best results, hover diffuse to help the cast form around your curls, then gently diffuse hair.
6. Take care not to break up the clumps or cast as you dry.
7. For added volume, diffuse upside down or side to side.
8. Once hair is completely dry, apply a serum or oil, such as K-PAK Color Therapy Luster Lock Glossing Oil, to break the cast and add shine.

*How wet is "soaking wet"? You should hear a squishing noise as you pulse or scrunch into your hair.
